Arlo Parks reminds us that art is a healing experience made for everyone. Honoring World Mental Health Day, Arlo partnered with Dazed and Converse to launch ‘Arlo’s Art Therapy’, in support of the suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). I had the pleasure of having my work chosen to be featured in the book. The print selected was taken from my ‘Queer As Folk’ Collection 20/21, a collection that served as my own healing experience, owing to its in-depth exploration of my Romany heritage and queer identity, where I learned to celebrate these identities instead of suppressing them.
