In 2022, I had the pleasure of assisting Rosie Strickland with fabrication and textiles consultancy for ‘KOKO’ in Camden during its exciting re-opening. As the venue emerged from the challenges of the pandemic, we collaborated on the launch of ‘KOKO Electronica’, a vibrant nightclub experience dedicated to DJ nights, complementing the venue's live music program. The team curated a range of dynamic set designs that would shape the atmosphere for ‘KOKO Electronica’ over the coming months, blending innovation with the venue's rich artistic heritage. This included an array of materials, from plant installations and playful textiles to innovative lighting, all designed to complement and enhance the venue's storied history.
