‘e.m.arson’ Solo Music Project. 2025

‘e.m.arson’ is the experimental solo music project of UK-based multidisciplinary artist Emmally Parsons. An outsider, improv, and noise artist, e.m.arson creates instinctive, emotionally raw “aural scrapbooks” from field recordings, deconstructed pedals, poetry, prose, and found sounds — often everyday objects like kitchen utensils. Their work resists convention, exploring reflection, transformation, and the tension between the macabre and the light. Parsons’ work has been published in Electronica Sound Magazine (December 2025).

In 2025, e.m.arson released four projects: the debut album “The Pillbox (LP Demo)”, the EP “The Workhouse”, “the single when icarus fell from the sky”, and a collaborative single “A&E - 0.0 (I have cities but no houses)” with ‘Devon Earth’ for ONE WORLD (Adventurous Music, Leipzig, Germany). “The Pillbox (LP Demo)” addresses love, resistance, and identity, drawing on untold women’s stories, personal narratives, and historical power struggles — a meditation on refusing silence and embracing growth.

The solo project presents a multifaceted practice that transforms sound into personal expression, community reflection, and shared human experience.
